A-7 Translucent Envelopes

These announcement envelopes measure 5.25 x 7.25 inches and use 30# white translucent vellum paper. Each box contains 500 envelopes with side-seam construction and a remoistening seal. The acid-free stock resists yellowing and suits archival or everyday correspondence.

Suits mailings that need a light vellum finish

The translucent sheet shows a subtle hint of the enclosure, making it a poor fit when total opacity is required. Buyers who want a window aperture, a peel-and-stick closure, or a heavier card-weight envelope should look at something else.

30# vellum weight decides the feel

At 30# the paper is thin enough to fold cleanly yet sturdy enough for automated inserting equipment. If your project calls for a substantially thicker or fully opaque sheet, this weight will not match the brief.

Questions about this item

Will the 5.25 x 7.25 inch dimensions fit a standard A-7 announcement card?

Yes, the envelope measures exactly 5.25 by 7.25 inches, which is the standard A-7 size for announcement cards and invitations.

How do I seal the remoistening flap without it sticking prematurely?

Apply moisture evenly along the gummed flap, press firmly for several seconds, and store the box in a dry environment to prevent humidity from activating the seal early.

Will the 30 lb translucent paper yellow or become brittle over time?

The paper is acid-free, which prevents yellowing and embrittlement, keeping the white translucent vellum finish stable for long-term storage.
