Open-end Tyvek catalog envelopes

These open-end Tyvek catalog envelopes measure 10 by 13 inches with a 1.5 inch expansion gusset. They are made from bright white spun-bonded olefin with a smooth finish and a moisture-resistant surface. A green First Class border is printed on the face and flap. The box contains 100 envelopes weighing 5.7 lbs total.

Check envelope dimensions and closure style

Verify that a 10 by 13 inch open-end format fits the documents or catalogs you intend to mail. The 1.5 inch expansion allows thicker stacks but requires a mailpiece thick enough to trigger large-envelope or parcel rates. Confirm that the Kwik-Tak flap seal meets your security needs compared to peel-and-seal or clasp closures.

Replaces standard flat mailers for bulky shipments

These envelopes upgrade from flat mailers when you regularly ship catalogs, reports or product samples that exceed standard letter thickness. The Tyvek construction resists tearing and moisture better than kraft paper equivalents. The jump is worth it when the 1.5 inch expansion prevents splitting and the printed border speeds postal sorting.

Questions about this item

Does the box of 100 envelopes include any sealing strips or moisture-resistant liners, or must those be purchased separately?

The box contains 100 expansion envelopes with Kwik-Tak self-seal flaps already applied; no extra sealing strips or liners are required.

Should I choose the 1.5-inch expansion version or a flat envelope for mailing thick catalogues?

The 1.5-inch expansion gusset lets each envelope hold bulky catalogues or multiple documents that would not fit in a flat envelope.

Will the printed green First Class border and Tyvek material meet postal requirements for 18# weight mail?

Yes, the envelopes are marked First Class Mail, weigh 5.7 lbs per 100-count box, and the moisture-resistant Tyvek construction satisfies 18# mailing standards.
