  • Acid-free paper protects documents from yellowing over time

  • Vellum finish gives a professional feel for client mailings
  • Center seam construction adds strength for heavier inserts

Open End Catalog Envelopes 9 x 12

These open end catalog envelopes measure nine by twelve inches and come in a box of five hundred. The creme pastel coloured sulphite paper has a vellum finish and a centre seam construction. They are designed for shipping documents or flat items that do not require a window.

Upgrade from lighter weight mailers

The twenty eight pound stock provides more rigidity than standard twenty pound envelopes. The jump is worth it when contents need extra protection against bending during transit. Acid free paper also prevents yellowing for long term archival storage of important records.

Practical limits of remoistening seal

The flap down design uses a traditional remoistening seal that requires moisture to activate. It is not self adhesive and will not stick without a dampener or envelope moistener. Buyers who need a peel and stick closure or a security tinted interior should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What size mailing shelf or drawer fits the 9 x 12 inch envelopes?

The envelopes measure 9 by 12 inches, so allow at least that width and depth plus a small clearance for the 500-count box.

How do I seal the remoistening flap without it sticking early?

Keep the box sealed until use, store flat in low humidity, and moisten only the flap you are closing right then.

When should I replace the box if the paper yellows?

The stock is acid-free sulphite designed to resist yellowing; replace only if the creme colour shifts or the vellum finish feels brittle.
