Tyvek Catalog Envelopes 12 x 16

These open-end envelopes measure 12 by 16 inches and feature a 2-inch expansion gusset for bulky documents. The spun-bonded olefin construction provides moisture and burst resistance. Bright white finish suits professional mailing needs. Each box contains 100 envelopes.

Peel-and-Seal Closure Limits

The Kwik-Tak peel-and-seal flap creates a permanent bond without moisture. Once pressed, the seal cannot be reopened without visible damage. This suits one-way shipping but prevents reuse for returns or internal routing. The adhesive activates instantly on contact.

Upgrade from Standard Paper Catalog Envelopes

Tyvek material replaces plain paper when tear resistance and water protection matter. The 14-pound stock with 2-inch expansion handles thick catalogs that would split regular envelopes. The jump is worth it for high-value or weather-exposed shipments.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 12 x 16 inch size with 2 inch expansion or a standard flat envelope for bulky catalogs?

The 2 inch expansion gusset lets this envelope hold thick catalogs or multiple documents that would not fit in a flat envelope, while the 12 x 16 inch dimensions accommodate standard catalog formats.

How does the 14 pound Tyvek weight perform when mailing heavy catalogs?

At 14 pound weight the spun bonded olefin material resists tearing and bursting even when the expansion gusset is fully loaded, and the moisture resistant surface protects contents during transit.

What does the peel and seal closure mean for mailing speed compared to traditional gummed flaps?

The Kwik-Tak peel and seal flap closes instantly without moisture, so you can seal up to 100 envelopes per box quickly and they stay sealed through automated postal equipment.
