Open-End Job Ticket Envelopes

These envelopes measure 12 inches by 9-1/2 inches and are constructed from 100-pound Manila tag stock with a smooth finish. The centre seam and quarter-inch extension add strength for bulky job paperwork. Each box contains 250 new envelopes suited for offices, print shops and job sites that handle heavy document sets.

Upgrade from standard letter envelopes

Thin letter-size envelopes tear when stuffed with multi-page job tickets, plans or invoices. The 100-pound tag material resists ripping and the open-end format allows fast insertion of thick stacks. The switch pays off when daily filing involves heavy, coarse or odd-sized sheets that would jam or burst lighter mailers.

Sustained filing use

Repeated stuffing and retrieval does not degrade the tag stock or split the centre seam. The smooth finish prevents snagging on cabinet edges or adjacent folders during long-term storage. The quarter-inch extension maintains closure integrity even when the envelope is packed to capacity day after day.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the 9-1/2x12 envelope for shelf fit?

The envelope measures 9-1/2 inches by 12 inches, requiring a slot or shelf depth of at least 12 inches and width of at least 9-1/2 inches for flat storage.

How do you load documents into the center-seam open-end envelope without tearing the 1/4-inch extension?

Insert paperwork through the 9-1/2-inch open end; the center seam runs vertically down the back, so align stacks centrally to avoid stressing the 1/4-inch thumb-cut extension when pulling files out.

When should the 100-lb SFI-certified manila tag envelope be replaced under heavy job-site use?

Replace envelopes when the 100-lb manila tag shows frayed edges, seam separation at the center glue line, or the smooth finish wears rough enough to snag documents during repeated insertion.
