Envelopes for Office Mailing

These white Kraft open side booklet envelopes measure 6" x 9" and come in a box of 500. The 28# paper stock has an 84% brightness rating and a vellum finish. Side seam construction places both seams underneath for a clean front surface. Each envelope uses a remoistening seal with the flap down.

Suited for Bulk Business Use

Ideal for offices, schools and mailrooms sending invoices, statements or promotional inserts in high volume. The SFI certified paper meets responsible forestry standards. Not suited for buyers who need a window envelope, a peel-and-seal closure or a heavier weight stock for added rigidity.

Capacity and Handling Limits

A single box contains 500 envelopes and weighs 11.5 lbs, while a full carton holds 2500 pieces. The 28# weight handles standard multi-page documents without tearing. It runs out when mailing thick catalogues or heavy contracts that exceed the paper's stiffness.

Questions about this item

Will these 6" x 9" envelopes feed through an older laser printer that only accepts standard letter-size trays?

The 6" x 9" size is smaller than letter paper, so most printers with adjustable guides will accept them; check the printer manual for minimum custom size support.

Does the 28# White Kraft vellum finish smudge when printed on an inkjet printer?

The vellum surface absorbs ink quickly, but allow extra drying time and test a single envelope first to confirm no smearing on your specific inkjet model.

How can I confirm the box contains the full 500 count after opening?

Each box weighs 11.5 lbs; verify the seal is intact and weigh the box on a calibrated scale to match the stated weight.
