Proxy Mailer with Two Compartments

This open-side envelope measures 9 by 12 inches and uses 28-pound white Kraft paper with an 84 brightness rating and vellum finish. Two internal compartments keep contents separated for proxy or bi-pack mailing. The box contains 500 envelopes ready for high-volume office use.

SFI-Certified Kraft and Plasticleer Windows

White Kraft stock carries SFI certification and a side-seam construction with a remoistening seal for secure closure. Each envelope includes Plasticleer look-in windows made of cellophane that reveal addressing without opening the flap. The flap-down design supports traditional hand or machine sealing workflows.

Not Laser Compatible and Weight Considerations

The manufacturer specifies that these envelopes are not compatible with laser printers, limiting output to inkjet or manual addressing. A full box weighs 32.5 pounds, which affects storage planning and shipping calculations for bulk orders. Users needing laser-printable stock should select a different product.

Questions about this item

What does the 28# White Kraft rating mean for durability?

The 28-pound basis weight gives a sturdy sheet that resists tearing during handling while staying light enough for standard postage rates.

Will the 9 by 12 inch open-side format fit in a standard letter tray?

Yes, the 9 by 12 dimensions match common letter-size trays and the side-seam construction keeps the envelope flat for stacking.

How do I seal the remoistening flap without it sticking prematurely?

Moisten only the gummed strip, press firmly for a few seconds, and avoid touching the adhesive before you are ready to close the envelope.
