Envelope dimensions and build

These envelopes measure 10 by 13 inches and use 28 pound White Kraft paper with a vellum finish. The stock is SFI certified and offers 84 percent brightness. A poly window sized 7-7/8 by 9-3/4 inches sits 1-5/8 inches from the left edge and 1-1/16 inches from the bottom. Side seams and a remoistening seal complete the construction.

Window material and print limits

The Velpine poly window lets contents show through while protecting documents inside. Because the product is not laser compatible, it must be used with inkjet printers, copiers or hand addressing only. Each box contains 500 envelopes weighing 20.5 pounds total.

High-volume mailing without laser printing

This box suits offices, schools or mailrooms sending large batches of booklets, catalogues or statements where a showcase window is needed. Buyers who require laser-printable envelopes or a smaller quantity pack should look at other options.

Questions about this item

How often will I need to replace the remoistening seal adhesive on these 10 x 13 envelopes?

The remoistening seal is single-use; each of the 500 envelopes provides one seal application, so replacement means using the next envelope from the box.

What is the first limitation I will hit when processing large batches of these 28# White Kraft envelopes?

The box contains 500 envelopes weighing 20.5 lbs, so the quantity per carton is the hard limit for continuous mailing runs.

How much heat or noise does the poly window material generate during all-day mailroom use?

The envelopes are passive paper products with a poly window and vellum finish; they produce no heat, noise, or power draw during handling or storage.
