Manual crimping tool handles 14 to 26 AWG insulated and non-insulated wires with adjustable carbon-steel jaws
The Westward 13H878 is a hand-operated crimper designed for electricians and technicians who terminate insulated and non-insulated wires in the 14 to 26 AWG range. Its carbon steel construction provides durability for daily use on job sites or in workshops. The 7 1/4 in. length keeps the tool compact for tool-belt carry.
This crimper replaces single-function wire strippers by combining stripping and crimping in one tool, reducing the number of items a technician must carry. The adjustable handle lets the user set leverage for different wire gauges, making the switch worthwhile when a job involves repeated terminations across the full 14 to 26 AWG span.
Because the tool relies on hand force, it is not suited for high-volume production crimping where a ratchet or hydraulic tool would ensure consistent pressure. The fixed jaw profile covers 14 to 26 AWG only, so larger conductors or specialised terminals require a different tool. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to materials used in the tool.

The tool is designed for 14 to 26 AWG wires, covering both insulated and non-insulated types for typical electrical work.
Squeeze the handles to open the jaws, then rotate the adjustment dial to match the wire gauge; a common mistake is crimping without confirming the setting first.
The jaws are hardened carbon steel and not user-replaceable; keep them clean and lightly oiled to maintain crimp quality over the tool's life.
