Manual Grease Gun for Heavy-Duty Lubrication

The Westward 4BY69 manual grease gun delivers up to 6000 psi operating pressure for demanding automotive and industrial maintenance. It accepts both 14 1/2 oz cartridges and 16 oz bulk loads, giving technicians flexibility on the job. The 15 1/2 in steel tube provides reach in tight compartments.

Coupler Filler Nipple Pump Head

The gun ships with a coupler, filler nipple, pump head, removable plug and 18 in flexible whip hose so it is ready to use immediately. Variable stroke operation allows full-stroke or metered delivery at 33 strokes per ounce. Standard tether points let users add a lanyard for drop prevention.

6000 psi Maximum Pressure Decides Suitability

The 6000 psi rating determines whether this tool can handle the fittings and seals on your equipment. Buyers who need higher pressure for specialised hydraulic systems should verify their spec sheets before purchasing. The 18 in hose length also sets the working radius from the grease source.

Questions about this item

How often will the 18 in flex hose need replacing under daily shop use?

The 18 in whip hose is a wear item; inspect it each cartridge change and replace it when cracks or stiffness appear.

At 6,000 psi what component reaches its limit first during continuous pumping?

The steel tube and pump head are rated for 6,000 psi; the coupler seal typically shows leakage before the barrel yields.

How hot does the lever handle get after 33 strokes per ounce over an hour?

The lever stays near ambient temperature because the tool is manually operated and generates no internal heat.
