7-Inch Fuji-Shank Scaling Chisel

This Westward 4MHA5 scaling chisel is a 7-inch steel hand tool built for surface-removal work with pneumatic or hydraulic scalers. Its Fuji shank design fits scalers that accept the ACL-006 part number, and the 0.465-inch diamond shank locks securely during heavy vibration.

For Scaler Operators Removing Coatings

Technicians stripping rust, scale or old coatings from metal structures will find the 3/4-inch tip width and 42CRMO steel suited to repeated impact. Workers needing a non-sparking tool for hazardous atmospheres or a different shank profile should select another chisel.

0.465-Inch Diamond Fuji Shank

The shank diameter and Fuji geometry are the single fitment detail: the chisel only works with scalers machined for a 0.465-inch diamond shank. Verify the scaler manual or the ACL-006 cross-reference before ordering.

Questions about this item

What pneumatic tool is required to run this 7 in scaling chisel?

It fits Fuji-style chisel scalers such as the ACL-006 model.

Will the 0.465 in diamond shank fit my older scaler that takes a different shank design?

Only if that scaler also uses the Fuji shank pattern; other shank shapes will not accept it.

How can I confirm the chisel is cutting correctly after installation?

The 3/4 in tip should remove surface material cleanly without excessive vibration.
