Product Identity

The WetKeys OMWK0C01-BK is a right-handed wired optical mouse built from fully sealed silicone rubber. It targets professionals in medical, dental, laboratory, food-processing and industrial settings where equipment must survive repeated wash-downs and disinfection.

Installation Notes

The mouse connects through a 1.6 meter cord ending in a USB plug with a supplied PS/2 adaptor. Only the silicone body is submersible; the connectors must stay dry. Driver installation follows standard operating-system recognition for a three-button optical pointer.

Suitability

This unit suits users who need a waterproof, dustproof and chemical-resistant pointing device rated to at least NEMA 4x and IP 66 for harsh or sterile environments. It is not intended for buyers who want wireless freedom, programmable buttons, adjustable sensitivity or a form factor designed for left-handed use.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the mouse is tracking correctly after connecting it?

Move the mouse on a flat surface and confirm the cursor responds smoothly; the optical sensor and three buttons including the scroll wheel should operate without lag or sticking.

What comes in the package and what must I provide separately?

The box contains the sealed silicone mouse with a 1.6 meter cord, a USB connector and a PS/2 adaptor; no driver disc or software is included and the host computer supplies power through the chosen port.

Which version should I choose for a medical workstation that requires regular disinfection?

The single black model OMWK0C01-BK carries a minimum NEMA4x and IP66 rating, making it suitable for repeated wash-downs and immersion in antibacterial solutions in clinical environments.
