Wiegmann B060604SC NEMA 12, 13 6.0x6.0x4.0 in Wall Mount line protection

Enclosure for Bus Plug Applications

The Wiegmann B060604SC is a wall-mount enclosure rated NEMA 12 and 13 for indoor protection against dust, dirt and non-corrosive liquids. It houses bus plugs in a carbon steel body finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coat. The 6.0 in height by 6.0 in width by 4.0 in depth footprint suits compact industrial control panels. Captivated cover screws and a neoprene gasket maintain the seal during routine access.

Upgrade from Open or Lower-Rated Boxes

This unit replaces unrated junction boxes or NEMA 1 enclosures when the environment demands protection from settling airborne contaminants and oil or coolant seepage. The jump is worth it when equipment must stay operational in machining areas or process lines where splashing occurs. CSA certified and cULus listed construction meets code requirements that basic boxes cannot satisfy. The 14 ga steel and screw-on solid cover add mechanical rigidity over lighter alternatives.

Sustained Load Behaviour in Contaminated Air

Under continuous operation the powder-coated carbon steel resists corrosion from persistent humidity and chemical vapours. The neoprene gasket retains compression set resistance across temperature cycles, keeping the NEMA 12/13 seal intact without frequent retightening. Captivated screws prevent loss during repeated inspections, reducing downtime. The 3.88 in usable opening depth accommodates standard bus plug profiles while maintaining internal clearances for heat dissipation.
