Electrical enclosure for industrial line protection

The Wiegmann N12161208 is a carbon-steel enclosure rated NEMA 12 and 13 for indoor use where dust, dirt and non-corrosive liquids are present. It suits plant-floor machinery, motor-control centres and automation panels that require a lockable, wall-mounted housing.

Wall-mount design with external feet and internal

External mounting feet allow direct attachment to structural surfaces without breaching the gasket seal. A seamless poured-in-place polyurethane gasket maintains the rated ingress protection. The enclosure accepts interior panel 2W827, freeing the installer to populate breakers, terminal blocks or relays without modifying the box.

Painted steel construction

The 14-gauge body and solid cover are finished in gray paint for corrosion resistance. Clamp fasteners secure the hinged cover against the gasket, while a built-in hasp and staple accept a padlock to prevent unauthorised access. Usable opening depth is 7.88 in, providing clearance for standard DIN-rail components and wiring.
