Wiitek

Wiitek 100GbE QSFP28 DAC Twinax Cable 1.5 m network ethernet cable

SKU CH-AZ9T-Q5795

Passive copper cable links QSFP28 ports at 100 GbE over 1.5 m with 30 AWG conductors

  • Overall length1.5 m
  • 5 m reach links adjacent racks without transceivers
  • Passive copper draws minimal power and runs cool
  • 30 AWG twinax construction preserves 100 GbE signal quality
  • Broad vendor compatibility covers Cisco, Ubiquiti, Mikrotik and more
  • IEEE 802.3 and SFF-8665 compliant for reliable operation

100GbE QSFP28 Direct Attach Cable

This passive twinax cable provides a 100 Gigabit Ethernet link between QSFP28 ports. It is built for short-reach connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. The 1.5 metre length suits dense switch-to-switch deployments. Compatibility spans Cisco, Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, Netgear, Supermicro and other open-source platforms.

Suited for high-density 100G interconnects

Network engineers building 100GbE fabrics within a single row will find the passive design cost-effective and power-efficient. The cable draws minimal power and generates low EMI. Buyers needing longer reach between distant racks or across data-hall aisles should consider active optical alternatives instead.

IEEE 802.3 and SFF-8665 compliant passive copper

The assembly meets IEEE 802.3 100GBASE-CR and SFF-8665 specifications for signal integrity. It operates from a single 3.3 V supply across a 0 to 70 °C range. RoHS compliance and 30 AWG conductors complete the mechanical and environmental profile.
