A 0.5 m passive SFP+ twinax cable delivering 10 Gbps links between switches, routers, servers and NAS gear with 30 AWG conductors, green PVC jacket and 0–70 °C operating range
This green 0.5m twinax cable connects two SFP+ ports at up to 10Gbps. It suits switches, routers, NAS boxes and NICs that expose SFP+ cages. The passive design needs no external power and works with Cisco, Ubiquiti, Mikrotik and other major vendors.
At 1.64ft the cable only spans adjacent rack units or neighbouring devices on a shelf. The 30AWG conductors limit the link to very short runs; longer distances need active optics or higher-gauge copper. Operating temperature is rated from 0 to 70°C.
The assembly meets SFP+ MSA and SFF-8432, so it will negotiate correctly in any compliant cage. If your gear requires a different coded EEPROM or an active cable, this part will not link.
