A 1.64 ft passive twinax cable linking two SFP+ ports at 10 Gbps for 10 Gigabit Ethernet or Fibre Channel connections
This 1.64 ft passive copper twinax cable provides a direct 10Gbps link between two SFP+ ports. It is built for 10Gb Ethernet and 10G Fibre Channel applications in storage area networks, NAS devices and data centre racks. The white PVC jacket and 30 AWG conductors meet SFP+ MSA and SFF-8432 compliance.
The cable plugs straight into SFP+ slots on compatible switches, routers, 10Gb NAS appliances, NICs and other Ethernet adapters. No external power or transceiver modules are required, freeing up rack space and reducing cabling complexity. It operates across a temperature range of 0 to 70°C for reliable performance in dense environments.
This cable suits installers who need a short, passive 10Gb connection between verified SFP+ equipment from vendors such as Ubiquiti, Fortinet, MikroTik, Mellanox, Netgear, Supermicro, TP-Link and Cisco. It does not suit runs longer than 1.64 ft, active or optical link requirements, or ports that are not SFP+.

The cable is rated for a maximum data rate of 10 Gbps, suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 10G Fibre Channel links.
As a passive copper assembly with no active electronics, it produces negligible heat and operates within a 0 to 70 °C temperature range.
You need two devices with SFP+ ports — such as switches, routers, NAS units, NICs or servers — that accept passive direct-attach copper cables.
