Water detection sensor for critical areas

The WaterBug unsupervised water sensor detects the presence of water in computer rooms, document storage areas, warehouses, sump pumps and basements. It activates an alarm when a conductive bridge forms between two contacts. The sensor ignores high condensation to reduce false alerts. This device is not a stand-alone product and must be used with a WB200 or WB350 controller.

Supervised wiring limits and grounding constraint

Up to six sensors can be located up to 100 feet (30.48 m) from the controller using 18 to 22 AWG twisted pair wire. Power supplied to the device must not have a connection to earth ground. A ground connection can cause a failure to detect water or a ground fault. The sensor can also be configured with a WB200 to monitor for the absence of water.

Stable surface mount for fixed installation

The sensor features a stable surface mount design suited for permanent placement on floors or equipment bases. Its unsupervised operation means it reports water presence without continuous polling from the controller.
