Low-Temperature Waterproof Probe

The Winland Electronics TEMP-L-W is a remote temperature sensor built for cold environments. It connects to EnviroAlert monitoring units such as the EA200-12, EA200-24, EA400-12, EA400-24, EA800, EA800-ip and EA-WMFS. Installers use it in freezers, coolers, computer rooms and remote sites where wired temperature data is required. The blue housing identifies the low-temperature variant at a glance.

Range and Accuracy

The probe measures from -58 to 158 degrees F, which is -50 to 70 degrees C, with a stated accuracy of +/- 0.5 degrees C. This span covers deep-freeze storage and typical server-room conditions in a single device. Readings outside this window are not supported, so environments exceeding 70 degrees C need a different sensor. The 38-inch cable lead gives modest placement flexibility around the monitored asset.

Construction and Mounting

Fully submersible waterproof construction lets the probe sit directly in liquids or condensation-heavy spaces without damage. The stainless steel tip measures 1.16 inches long and 0.3 inches in diameter, or 29.46 mm by 7.62 mm, allowing it to fit through tight seals or grommets. The 0.96-metre lead terminates in bare wires for direct connection to compatible EnviroAlert terminals. Buyers needing wireless transmission or longer cable runs should look elsewhere.
