A 235 W power supply for OptiPlex 760, 960, 780 and 580 small-form-factor systems, accepting 100-240 V input at 4.5 A and 50-60 Hz
This WMtec server power supply replaces Dell part numbers FR610, WU136, PW116, 67T67, RM112 and R224M inside OptiPlex 760, 960, 780 and 580 small-form-factor chassis. It delivers a maximum output of 235W to restore original power capacity. The unit is built new to match the factory form factor and connector layout.
Rated for 100-240V input at 4.5A across 50-60Hz mains, the supply operates within standard office voltage ranges. Internal protection circuits manage heat and current at the rated 235W load. The original cooling design is retained, so acoustic profile matches the system's stock behaviour under typical workloads.
Mechanical dimensions and mounting points align with the listed OptiPlex SFF models, requiring no chassis modification. All native power connectors are present for motherboard, drives and expansion cards. Builders needing higher wattage or a different form factor cannot use this unit.

Slide the supply into the chassis until the latch clicks, then connect the 24-pin motherboard plug and the 4-pin CPU plug; the step most often missed is securing the retention screw that locks the handle in place.
The internal fan bearings are the only wear item; expect to clean dust from the intake grille every 6–12 months and replace the fan if noise or vibration appears.
The 4.5A input current ceiling at 100V is reached first, so sustained maximum output requires a supply voltage nearer 240V to avoid tripping the primary protection.
