Metal 3.5 mm Adapter

The WMtec adapter is a short metal plug that converts the proprietary twist-lock socket on specific Audio-Technica and Sennheiser headphones to a standard 3.5 mm jack. It measures 5.4 cm (2.12 in) long and is built from metal for a solid feel. The package contains only the adapter; no cable is included.

For Owners of Listed Models

This plug suits owners of Audio-Technica ATH-M40X, M50X, M60X or M70X headphones who need a 3.5 mm connection. It also fits Sennheiser HD518, HD558, HD569, HD579, HD595, HD598 and HD599 models. Buyers whose headphones already terminate in a 3.5 mm plug or use a different locking mechanism will not benefit from this adapter.

Twist-Lock Compatibility Check

The single deciding factor is whether your headphone has the exact twist-lock socket found on the listed Audio-Technica and Sennheiser models. If the socket matches, the 3.5 mm male end connects to any standard cable; if it differs, the adapter will not fit.
