800W Z620 Workstation Power Supply

This 800 watt unit is built specifically for the HP Z620 workstation platform. It replaces part numbers 623194-001/2, 632912-001 and 717019-001. The supply targets IT professionals maintaining or repairing these enterprise systems.

Capacity and Headroom

The 800W rating supports fully configured Z620 workstations with dual processors, multiple GPUs and populated drive bays. It runs out of headroom when the combined component draw exceeds the rated output or when the chassis requires a different form factor.

Questions about this item

Will the 800W unit run reliably with the original Z620 motherboard and CPU combination I already have?

The 800W supply is built for the Z620 workstation and matches the original 623194-001/2, 632912-001 and 717019-001 part numbers, so it connects directly to the existing motherboard power headers.

How can I confirm the 800W supply is operating correctly once installed in the Z620?

After fitting the unit, power on the workstation and verify the front-panel LED shows a steady green state and the system posts without shutdowns or throttle warnings.
