Compatible Headphone Models

These cooling gel ear pads are designed as direct replacements for the DT770, DT880, DT990, T70P, T5P and T1 headphones. They use a soft sponge material with an integrated gel layer to reduce heat build-up during long listening sessions. The pads are sold as a pair in black.

Who Benefits and Who Does Not

Listeners who experience discomfort or sweating with standard pads will appreciate the cooling effect and soft fit. Users of other headphone models cannot use these pads because the mounting design is specific to the listed Beyerdynamic series. Buyers wanting leather, velour or hybrid materials should look at alternative pad types.

Check Your Headphone Model Before Ordering

Confirm the exact model name printed on your headband or original packaging matches one of the compatible series. The pads attach using the original mounting mechanism so no tools are required. Verify that your current pads are removable and not glued in place.
