Replacement Ear Pads for DT 770/880/990

These grey ear pads are designed as direct replacements for Beyerdynamic DT 770, DT 880 and DT 990 headphones. They arrive as a single pair of cushions without additional accessories or retail packaging. The parts are intended for owners who need to refresh worn or damaged original pads.

Sustained Comfort and Isolation

The pads use soft leather and sponge materials with high elasticity to maintain their shape during long listening sessions. This construction aims to preserve acoustic seal and bass response over time rather than collapsing quickly. The design focuses on restoring the headphone's original sound signature and wearing comfort for extended periods.

Simple Snap-On Installation

Each cushion measures 100 mm and fits the specified models without tools or adhesives. The package includes two pads or an optional headband piece depending on the selected variant. Buyers needing a complete headband assembly or different colour options should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Do the ear pads generate noticeable heat or noise during long listening sessions?

The pads are passive leather and sponge cushions with no electronics, so they produce no noise and add no measurable heat beyond normal body warmth.

What must I already own for these pads to fit and function?

You need a Beyerdynamic DT 770, DT 880 or DT 990 headset; the pads are sized at 100 mm and will not mount on other models.

Will the pads change the clamping force or sound signature on an older DT 770 I have kept for years?

The high-elasticity foam restores original pad thickness, returning clamping pressure and acoustic seal to factory-like levels on aged DT 770 units.
