Questions about this item

What is the thickness of these ear pads, and how does it affect the fit on my HD 4.50BT?

The pads measure 28 mm thick, adding cushion depth that restores the original ear-cup seal and improves passive noise isolation on the HD 4.50BT.

Will the 90 mm by 70 mm oval footprint match the mounting points on my HD 450BT headband?

Yes, the 90 x 70 mm dimensions correspond to the oval mounting plate used across the HD 450BT, HD 458BT and HD 400S models for a direct snap-on fit.

How do I install the pads without tearing the memory sponge, and what is the common mistake?

Stretch the inner lip over the plastic retaining ring evenly; the mistake is pulling from one side only, which rips the soft sponge material.
