Dual Xeon server kit

This new WMtec F8 X99 motherboard arrives with a pre-installed Intel Xeon E5-2666 v3 processor and two 8 GB DDR4 2400 REG ECC modules. It provides a ready-to-run dual-socket platform for compute-intensive workloads such as virtualisation, rendering or scientific calculation.

Build integration

The board requires an E-ATX compatible chassis and a power supply with dual EPS connectors to feed both CPU sockets. Registered ECC memory is mandatory so standard unbuffered DIMMs cannot be used. The kit frees the builder from sourcing matched CPUs and validated memory separately.

Questions about this item

How does the XEON E5-2666 v3 handle sustained workloads on this board?

The processor runs at its rated frequency while the motherboard delivers power through the X99 platform, and the included REG ECC memory maintains data integrity under continuous load.

What noise and heat should I expect when the system runs all day?

The dual XEON configuration with 2400 DDR4 REG ECC modules operates within standard server thermal limits, and fan speed will adjust to the workload on the X99 board.
