Headband Cover for QC35 Headphones

This replacement headband cover fits the QuietComfort 35 headphones. It is made from soft, elastic sponge material in black. The part protects the original headband from dirt, sweat and general wear. Installation requires no tools and takes only moments.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive foam accessory, this cover generates no heat and draws no power. It produces no audible noise during use. The sponge material adds negligible weight and does not affect the acoustic seal of the earcups. It simply rests on the headband to absorb moisture and friction.

Length and Compatibility Decide Fit

The cover measures approximately 150 mm or 5.90 inches in length. It is designed specifically for the QC35 model. Buyers with other headphone models or different headband dimensions will find this part unsuitable. Verify the exact model number before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I slide the 150 mm sponge cover onto the QC35 headband without tearing it?

Stretch the elastic sponge gently over each end of the metal headband, working from the centre outward so the material seats evenly without snagging on the hinge joints.

Will the sponge compress or degrade from daily sweat exposure?

The open-cell sponge absorbs moisture but retains its shape; wipe it with a damp cloth and let it air-dry overnight to prevent odour and extend life.

At what point does the 150 mm cover stop protecting the headband edges?

If the headband padding wears thinner than the cover's inner width, the metal frame can press through the sponge at the ends.
