Supports dual Xeon CPUs with DDR3 memory, NVME storage and USB 3.0 on an E-ATX server board
The WMtec X99 T8D is an E-ATX motherboard built for dual Intel Xeon processors in the LGA 2011-3 socket. It targets users who need high core counts for virtualization, rendering or compute clusters. The board provides DDR3 RECC memory slots, an M.2 NVME interface and USB 3.0 connectivity. It is not suited for builds that require newer memory standards or single-socket consumer CPUs.
Dual-socket operation draws considerable power, so adequate chassis airflow is essential to keep VRM and CPU temperatures stable. Fan headers on the board allow speed curves tuned to workload rather than constant high RPM. Power delivery is designed for sustained multi-core loads rather than burst frequencies. Noise levels will depend on the cooler choice and case ventilation, not on the board itself.

Align each CPU with the socket triangle, lower the load plate, and lock the lever. The step often missed is installing both processors identically; the board will not post if only one socket is populated.
DDR3 RECC modules rarely fail, but if errors appear you replace the faulty stick with an identical capacity and speed module; no battery or firmware upkeep is required for the memory itself.
