Dual-socket ATX board for Intel Xeon E5 CPUs with separate DDR3 and DDR4 channels, two NVMe M.2 slots, six SATA 3.0 ports, and 7.1 audio
This ATX server motherboard accepts two Intel Xeon E5 processors in LGA2011-3 sockets. It targets administrators building multi-threaded compute nodes, virtualisation hosts or rendering farms who need high core counts on a single board. The 10-layer PCB and six-phase power delivery support sustained dual-CPU operation. Buyers needing single-socket consumer features or newer socket platforms will not match this design.
Four-channel memory architecture runs DDR3 at 1333, 1600 or 1866 MHz and DDR4 at 1866, 2133 or 2400 MHz up to 128 GB total, though the two memory types cannot be mixed. Two PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots and one x4 slot retain bandwidth under continuous load. Dual M.2 NVMe interfaces provide 32 Gb/s and 20 Gb/s throughput respectively. Six SATA 3.0 ports and gigabit Ethernet complete the I/O path without thermal throttling mentioned in the data.
The board measures 300 by 244 mm and requires a 24-pin plus 8-pin power connection with one CPU fan header and three system fan headers. Memory population must choose either DDR3 or DDR4 exclusively, and front-panel headers include a USB 2.0 pin group that controls Wi-Fi Bluetooth via a jumper. Builders without LGA2011-3 coolers, mixed-memory plans or single-CPU requirements should select a different platform.

The board uses a 10-layer PCB with a 6-phase power supply, 24-pin plus 8-pin connectors, and one CPU fan header plus three system fan headers for cooling.
You need either DDR3 1866/1600/1333 MHz or DDR4 2400/2133/1866 MHz modules; the four DDR3 and four DDR4 slots cannot be used together, and total capacity tops out at 128 GB.
The board provides two PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots and one PCI Express 3.0 x4 slot, all backward compatible with PCIe 2.0 cards.
