Purpose-built sash brush

This 2-inch angle-sash brush carries soft purple nylon filaments on a wooden sash handle. It is designed for interior work with low-viscosity paints, primers and stains on smooth or medium surfaces such as drywall, wood, concrete and metal.

Fits standard prep workflow

The sash handle gives control for cutting in trim, windows and corners without a bulky grip. Soft nylon releases material evenly on water-based coatings, reducing brush marks on cabinets and millwork.

Covers typical interior jobs

The 2-inch width and 2 11/16-inch filament length hold enough coating for continuous strokes on doors, frames and paneling. Very broad walls or rough exterior surfaces will need a wider or stiffer tool.

Questions about this item

What limits how long I can paint continuously with the 2-inch sash brush?

The 9/16-inch bristle thickness and 2-11/16-inch length hold a finite paint load, so you must reload when the brush runs dry.

Does the brush get hot or heavy during all-day interior work?

The wood sash handle and soft purple nylon bristles stay cool and light, with no motor or power source to generate heat.

What surface preparation do I need before using this brush on drywall or wood?

The brush is designed for low-viscosity water-based primers and stains on smooth or medium textures; ensure surfaces are clean and dry.
