Wooster Brush Company 4231-3 3" Angle Sash Paint Brush

3" Angle Sash Brush

The Wooster 4231-3 is a 3-inch angle sash paint brush built for precise cutting-in and trim work. Its firm synthetic Micro Tip filaments hold a sharp edge for clean lines on wood, metal, drywall and concrete. The natural wood sash handle provides a comfortable grip for extended brushing sessions. Suitable for all oil and water-based coatings on smooth or medium textures.

Stainless Steel Ferrule

A stainless steel ferrule resists rust and keeps the 5/8-inch thick filament bundle securely seated during heavy use. The 2 15/16-inch bristle length delivers good paint pickup and release across the full 3-inch width. Synthetic material maintains stiffness in both oil and water bases without swelling or softening over the course of a job.

Trim and Detail Capacity

This brush comfortably handles window sash, door frames, baseboards and cabinet faces where a straight edge matters. The firm stiffness pushes paint into corners without excessive flex on broad flats. On large wall fields or rough exterior siding the narrow width and firm tips run out of coverage speed compared to wider wall brushes or rollers.
