2-1/2" Angle Sash Brush

The Wooster Q3208-2 1/2 features soft synthetic filaments on a beavertail plastic handle. It is built for painters who want a smooth finish with all paint bases on medium or smooth surfaces. The brass-plated steel ferrule resists corrosion during extended use. This brush suits both DIY and professional jobs on wood, metal, drywall, brick or concrete.

Synthetic filament capacity

The 2-1/2 inch width and 2 7/16 inch bristle length carry enough coating for broad strokes on walls and trim. Soft stiffness lays down oil or water-based products without heavy brush marks on smooth substrates. Coverage drops off on heavily textured brick or rough-sawn timber where a stiffer, thicker brush would penetrate deeper.

Upgrade from basic trim brushes

Moving up from economy chip brushes or worn-in tools, this model delivers cleaner cut-in lines and less shedding on cabinet work. The jump is worth it when a project demands consistent release across multiple coats. It does not replace wide wall brushes or rollers needed for large flat expanses.

Questions about this item

Will the 2-1/2" synthetic bristles work with the oil-based trim paint I already have?

Yes, the brush handles all paints and coatings including oil and water bases on wood, metal, drywall and other listed surfaces.

How can I confirm the soft synthetic filaments are laying down a smooth finish on my cabinet doors?

Check for even coverage without brush marks on smooth or medium-textured surfaces; the soft nylon/polyester blend is designed for a uniform film.

Does the brush come with a protective sleeve or do I need to buy a brush keeper separately?

The box contains the angle sash brush with beavertail plastic handle and brass-plated steel ferrule; no sleeve or keeper is included.
