18-inch roller cover for semi-rough surfaces

The Wooster R240-18 is an 18-inch paint roller cover with a 1/2-inch nap made from knit fabric. It fits standard yoke-style frames with a 1-1/2-inch core diameter and includes two end caps. The cover works with both oil-based and water-based paints on brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood.

Suited for large semi-rough walls and ceilings

Painters covering broad areas of drywall, concrete or masonry will appreciate the wide 18-inch width and knit construction that holds plenty of coating. It is not suited for ultra-smooth finishes such as fine plaster or polished trim, nor for tight corners where a narrower cover or brush is required.

Capacity and headroom on big jobs

The 18-inch width and 1/2-inch nap deliver strong paint pickup for fast coverage on semi-rough substrates. On very rough surfaces like heavy stucco or deeply textured block the nap can load unevenly, and the fixed 18-inch length limits manoeuvrability in confined spaces.
