18 inch cover for rough surfaces

The Wooster R241-18 is an 18 inch paint roller cover with a 3/4 inch nap made from knit fabric. It is designed for applying flat paints, satin paints, stains and waterproofing coatings. The cover fits standard yoke-style roller frames and suits rough surfaces such as brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood. Two end caps are included with the cover.

Polypropylene core resists solvents

The 1 1/2 inch diameter core is moulded from polypropylene for chemical resistance during use. Knit fabric construction holds a consistent paint load across the 18 inch width. Low sheen finish helps reduce glare on textured substrates. The cover works with compatible Wooster frames including the BR036-18, BR045-18 and BR047-18 models.

Knit fabric maintains coverage under load

During extended rolling sessions the knit fabric resists matting and keeps releasing paint evenly. The 3/4 inch nap depth carries enough coating for rough pores without frequent re-dipping. Polypropylene core does not soften when exposed to water-based or solvent-based products. The cover is not suited for ultra-smooth surfaces that require a shorter nap roller.
