Video walkie talkies for children

This two-pack of Wootoy WJ121893 units gives kids a 2.0-inch display and a front-facing camera so they can see each other while talking. The 2.4 GHz link connects instantly without pairing. A unicorn-themed silicone cover adds grip and drop protection for everyday play. Rechargeable batteries are built in.

Upgrade from audio-only toys

Children who have used basic push-to-talk radios gain live video, four voice-change modes and 20 sticker effects that turn conversations into creative storytelling. The jump is worth it when the child wants face-to-face interaction during hide-and-seek, backyard adventures or family trips. Shockproof construction survives the bumps that silence cheaper plastic models.

Capacity and headroom

Two handsets, two lanyards and two charging cables support a pair of users out of the box. The 2.0-inch screen and camera handle close-range indoor and outdoor play comfortably. Range is limited to the 2.4 GHz band, so thick walls or long-distance outdoor use will reduce reliability. No extra handsets can be added to the set.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of each unicorn walkie talkie?

Each unit measures 3.7084 cm wide, 14.605 cm tall and 15.494 cm deep, weighing 0.272 kilograms with the silicone cover fitted.

How do I pair the two handsets for the first time?

No pairing is required; switch both units on and they connect instantly on the 2.4 GHz channel. The step users miss is turning the second unit on within a few seconds of the first.

When will the embedded rechargeable battery need replacing?

The internal battery is not user-replaceable; when runtime drops noticeably the whole handset must be retired.
