Automatic Hand Dryer, 8-Second Cycle

The World Dryer Q-973A2 is an automatic surface-mounted hand dryer finished in brushed grey stainless steel. It targets high-traffic commercial washrooms where rapid throughput and ADA-compliant accessibility are required. The unit activates without touch and includes a HEPA filter as standard.

64 CFM Airflow, 130 °F Maximum Heat

An airflow rate of 64 cfm and a peak air temperature of 130 degrees Fahrenheit combine to dry hands in approximately 8 seconds. The single high-heat setting delivers consistent output for heavy daily use, though facilities needing variable temperature control or lower energy draw at off-peak times have no adjustment option.

Multi-Voltage 120–277 V AC, IP24 Rating

The dryer accepts any supply from 120 V AC up to 277 V AC, covering standard North American commercial circuits including 208 V without rewiring. Its IP24 rating protects against splashing water but not direct jets, limiting installation to locations where the housing will not be hosed down.

Questions about this item

Will the 120-277 V AC input work with our existing 208 V three-phase panel?

The dryer accepts 120 to 277 V AC single-phase, so a 208 V leg-to-neutral feed is within range; verify your panel provides a neutral before wiring.

How can I confirm the unit is drying hands in the rated 8 seconds at 69 dBA?

Time a dry cycle with a stopwatch and measure sound at one metre; you should see roughly 8 seconds and a reading near 69 dBA in a typical washroom.

Does the box include the HEPA filter and mounting hardware, or must I order them separately?

The package ships with the HEPA filter and cover already installed; only supply wiring and mounting fasteners for your wall type are needed.
