This HDMI KVM switch lets two computers share one monitor and up to four USB 2.0 peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, printer or flash drive. It is aimed at users who want a simple way to control two hosts from a single workstation without installing drivers. The unit includes a wired desktop controller and push buttons on the body for switching.

4K 60 Hz video and USB 2.0 limits

The switch passes video up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz and also supports lower modes such as 4K at 30 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz. USB ports operate at the 2.0 standard with a maximum transfer rate of 480 Mbit/s. Wired, 2.4 GHz wireless, mechanical and gaming keyboards work, but Bluetooth keyboards are not supported.

Two hosts one monitor four USB ports

The device comfortably handles two connected computers, one display and four USB 2.0 devices simultaneously. Switching between hosts takes 2 to 5 seconds regardless of whether the button or the desktop controller is used. It does not suit setups that need more than two computers, more than one monitor, or USB 3.0 and higher bandwidth peripherals.
