Two-computer HDMI sharing

This WRIARICH KVM switch lets two computers share one HDMI monitor and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It supports resolutions up to 3840x2160p at 60Hz with HDCP 2.2 and 2.3 compliance. The unit works with Windows, macOS, Linux and Unix systems without driver installation. Gamers and office users can toggle between a PC and a console or two workstations from a single desk setup.

Passive cooling and bus power

The aluminium-alloy shell dissipates heat without a fan, so operation stays silent during long sessions. No external power supply is required; the switch draws power from the connected computers through the included USB cables. A dedicated USB power cable is supplied for configurations where bus power alone is insufficient. Power consumption remains negligible in typical use.

Aluminium shell and front-panel switching

The compact 111.8x63.2x24.5mm enclosure uses an anodised aluminium housing that resists corrosion and electromagnetic interference. Two push buttons on the top panel select the active computer, and LED indicators show the current port. Four USB 3.0 Type-A ports on the front accept keyboards, mice, storage drives or other peripherals at 5Gbps. Two HDMI 2.0 inputs and one output sit on the rear alongside the USB upstream ports.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the two USB 3.0 data cables so the switch can share four USB 3.0 ports between both computers?

Plug each supplied USB 3.0 data cable into a USB 3.0 port on one computer and the matching upstream port on the switch; the four downstream USB 3.0 ports then serve keyboards, mice, printers or drives for either system.

Will the included USB power cable need to be replaced if I add bus-powered hard drives?

The USB power cable draws extra current for high-draw devices; keep it connected to a 5 V USB charger or spare port, and replace only if the cable itself is damaged.

At what resolution and refresh rate does the HDMI 2.0 link stop passing a signal cleanly?

The HDMI 2.0 interface supports up to 3840×2160 at 60 Hz; beyond that the link will not maintain a stable picture.
