Retro console converter

The WRIARICH adapter converts composite RCA or S-Video signals from classic consoles to HDMI output. It supports 720p and 1080p at 60Hz plus 480i, 480p and 576p resolutions. A front switch selects the active input and the chosen resolution setting is retained after power cycling. The unit ships with 1.5 metre RCA and S-Video cables plus a power adapter.

Composite and S-Video sources

This suits owners of legacy hardware such as NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, Saturn, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, original Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 1, 2, 3 and similar retro platforms. It also works with DVD players, VCRs and other analogue video gear. The converter cannot process Sega Genesis signals so owners of that console need a different solution. Users requiring HDMI-to-analogue conversion or upscaling beyond 1080p should also look elsewhere.

HDMI display integration

Connect the converter to any monitor, HDTV or projector with an HDMI input to bring analogue sources into a modern setup. Stereo audio is accepted through the shared RCA jacks and passed to HDMI while a 3.5 mm jack provides an alternative audio path. The compact black enclosure needs only the included AC charger for power leaving no extra cables to route. The 1.5 metre bundled cables reach most near-desk or living-room arrangements.
