Dual-Monitor 4-PC KVM Switch

This KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and two monitors control four computers or laptops. It accepts both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs on each system port and provides extended or mirrored desktop modes. Four USB 3.0 ports share peripherals such as printers, webcams or flash drives across the connected PCs. A wired remote and front-panel buttons give two ways to switch the active system.

Video Bandwidth and Resolution Limits

The switch passes signals up to 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz, provided every cable, monitor and graphics output in the chain also supports those rates. Lower resolutions run without added latency. HDMI and DisplayPort sources are both accepted, but the maximum refresh rate depends on the weakest link in the video path. An external 12 V power adapter is required for stable operation.

Four USB 3.0 Ports at 5 Gbps

Each of the four downstream USB ports runs at 5 Gbps, ten times the throughput of USB 2.0, so high-speed storage and webcams keep full performance when switched between machines. The ports are shared, not duplicated, so only the currently selected computer sees the attached devices. No higher USB standard is supported by this unit.
