4x2 HDMI Matrix Switcher for Multi-Display Setups

The WRIARICH 4x2 HDMI matrix switcher routes four HDMI sources to two independent displays. It supports 4K at 60 Hz, 1080p and 3D content with HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 compliance. The unit handles 8, 10 and 12 bit deep colour at up to 18 Gbps bandwidth. Installers and home-theatre enthusiasts use it to share consoles, streamers and players across two zones without re-cabling.

EDID Scaler, Audio Extraction and IR Remote

Automatic downscaling converts a 4K signal to 1080p on one output while the other retains 4K, activated by setting EDID to 0000. Sixteen EDID presets simplify handshake issues with mixed displays. Audio is de-embedded simultaneously to Toslink optical and 3.5 mm analogue outputs, supporting LPCM 2.0, 5.1, DTS and Dolby Digital. An IR remote switches inputs and outputs from a distance.

Rack-Friendly Metal Chassis with Front Buttons

The black metal enclosure fits standard AV racks and includes front-panel buttons for local switching when the remote is misplaced. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion over long cable runs. Power the unit from the included supply before connecting sources to avoid handshake failures. Ensure all cables are fully seated; loose HDMI plugs are the most common cause of signal drop-outs.

Questions about this item

Will the IR remote control or front-panel buttons wear out and need replacing?

The unit is new and has no user-serviceable parts; the IR remote and front-panel buttons are solid-state and rated for long-term use without scheduled replacement.

What is the first limit reached when all four inputs run 4K@60Hz continuously?

The 18 Gbps bandwidth ceiling and HDCP 2.2 handshake timing are the first constraints under sustained full-load operation.

Does the matrix generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

The passive metal chassis dissipates heat silently; no fan is fitted, so acoustic output remains at 0 dB while power draw stays low.
