7-port HDMI 2.0 switch for multi-source setups

This HDMI 2.0 switch connects up to seven source devices to a single display. It suits home-theatre or desktop users who need to route multiple consoles, streamers or PCs through one HDMI input. An IR remote and automatic source detection simplify daily switching. The unit is new and finished in black.

18.5 Gbps bandwidth handles 4K 60 Hz with HDR

The switch passes video at up to 18.5 Gbps and 1536 MHz, supporting 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080p, 1080p 3D and 4K at 60 Hz. It also carries HDR and compressed audio formats including DTS digital, Dolby digital, DTS-HD and Dolby. Resolutions above 4K 60 Hz or uncompressed high-bitrate audio are beyond its capacity.

HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 define the practical limits

HDMI 2.0 caps the link at 18 Gbps effective throughput, so 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 is the ceiling. HDCP 2.2 protects premium 4K streams, while HDCP 1.4 covers legacy content. Displays or sources lacking HDMI 2.0 or HDCP 2.2 will fall back to lower modes. The switch cannot extend reach beyond standard cable lengths.

Questions about this item

Will the 7-port HDMI 2.0 switch pass 1080p 60 Hz from my older console without scaling?

Each of the seven inputs accepts 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080p signals natively, so legacy sources display at their original resolution.

How can I confirm the switch is delivering a 4K 60 Hz HDR signal to my display?

The front-panel LEDs show the active port, and the OSD will report 4K at 60 Hz with HDR when the source and display negotiate HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 1.4.

Does the box include seven HDMI cables or only the switch and remote?

The package contains the 7-in-1 switch, an IR wireless remote and a power adapter; all HDMI cables must be purchased separately.
