7-Port HDMI Switch for 4K Displays

This 7-port HDMI switch connects up to seven UHD sources to a single display at 4K 60Hz. It supports HDCP 2.2, HDR, Dolby Vision and DeepColor to 36bit. The unit is aimed at home-theatre enthusiasts and multi-console gamers who want one-screen access to several devices. It does not suit installations that require more than seven inputs or resolutions above 4K 60Hz.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify that each source device outputs HDMI and that your display accepts 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 signals. Ensure you have seven HDMI cables rated for 18Gbps bandwidth and a free power outlet for the switch’s supply. The infrared remote works up to 26 feet with clear line of sight, so confirm the sensor will be visible from your seating position.

Sustained-Load Behaviour

The switch handles continuous 18Gbps throughput at 600MHz without signal degradation during long viewing sessions. Automatic switching detects newly powered sources and changes inputs without manual intervention. HDCP 2.2 handshake remains stable across extended playback of protected 4K content, preventing dropouts during movies or extended gaming periods.

Questions about this item

Does the box include HDMI cables for the seven inputs and the output?

The switcher ships with the unit itself and an IR remote control; HDMI cables for the seven sources and the display must be purchased separately.

Which switching mode — remote, automatic or manual — is best for a living-room setup with a PS4, Xbox One and Fire TV?

The IR remote works up to 26 feet, so you can change sources from the couch; automatic switching will also jump to a newly powered console without any button press.

What does the 18 Gbps bandwidth figure mean when I connect a 4K 60 Hz HDR source to this switch?

It confirms the switch can pass 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4, HDR, Dolby Vision and DeepColor up to 36 bit without compression.
