Control two computers with one keyboard, mouse and dual monitors at up to 8K 30Hz or 4K 144Hz
This DisplayPort KVM switch lets two computers share one keyboard, one mouse and two monitors. It supports extended and mirror display modes and includes a wired remote for convenient switching. Four integrated USB 2.0 ports handle peripherals such as keyboards, mice and printers. Driver-free operation works with Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, XP, Linux and Mac OS. Each computer requires two DisplayPort outputs and one USB-B connection.
The unit draws power from the connected computers and adds no active cooling, so it runs silently in normal use. LED indicators show which system is active at a glance. USB 2.0 ports operate at standard 2.0 speeds for low-power devices; high-draw peripherals such as external drives need a separate 5 V adapter. No fan noise or thermal throttling occurs because the switch contains no active components.
Video bandwidth supports 8K at 30 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz continuously across both outputs. DisplayPort 1.4 signalling remains stable during long sessions, with backward compatibility to 1.2. Switching via front button or wired remote is instantaneous and does not degrade signal integrity over time. The passive design means performance does not change with duration, provided each PC maintains its own DisplayPort output.

Connect two DisplayPort cables and one USB-B cable from each computer to the matching USB and INPUT ports on the KVM, then link the monitors to OUT A and OUT B, and plug keyboard and mouse into the dedicated K/M ports. The step people miss is using both DP cables per computer; a single cable breaks extended mode.
The unit has no user-serviceable parts or batteries. Keep the four USB 2.0 ports and the wired remote jack free of dust, and replace any worn DisplayPort or USB cables if signal drop-outs appear.
The switch supports 4K at 144Hz per display, but sustained high-bandwidth throughput can warm the chassis; ensure ventilation around the unit so thermal throttling does not reduce the 144Hz signal stability.
