Bidirectional 8K HDMI 2.1 Switch

The WRIARICH OZQ8AB3 is a compact bidirectional HDMI 2.1 switch that lets two source devices share one display or routes one source between two screens. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz with VRR and Dynamic HDR. A push-button and included remote handle source selection without software or drivers.

Replacing Manual Cable Swaps

It removes the need to unplug cables when moving between a console, media player or PC on the same monitor. The jump is worth it when you regularly alternate between two 8K or high-refresh 4K sources and want instant, lossless switching. Not suited for setups that must show both outputs simultaneously or that require more than two inputs.

HDMI 2.1 Cable Length Limits

Signal integrity follows HDMI 2.1 cable limits: 8K resolution holds up to 1.5 metres, 4K up to 3 metres and 1080p up to 8 metres. Longer runs at the highest bandwidths will drop to lower modes or lose sync. The aluminium case aids heat dissipation but does not extend the electrical reach of the interface.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 5.91 x 2.36 x 0.79 inch aluminum case need?

The switch measures 5.91 inches wide, 2.36 inches deep and 0.79 inches high, so it fits on a small shelf or behind a monitor stand without blocking adjacent ports.

Which button do I press to change between the two HDMI inputs or the two outputs, and does the remote need line of sight?

Press the button on the unit or use the included infrared remote; the remote works up to about 5 metres but requires a clear path to the front sensor.

Will the supplied USB-C power cable wear out, and can I replace it with any USB-C lead?

The cable is a standard USB-C to USB-A lead for 5 V power; any equivalent cable of similar length can be used if the original becomes damaged.
