Dual-Monitor KVM Switch

This WRIARICH KVM switch lets two computers share two monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals. It accepts HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs from each system and provides one HDMI and one DisplayPort output for the displays. A wired remote and front-panel buttons both change the active computer. The unit ships with a 12 V power adapter, two 1.5 m USB 3.0 cables and the remote.

Who It Suits And Who It Does Not

The switch suits users who run two PCs and need both screens to show either independent desktops or mirrored content. It also suits anyone who wants to share a keyboard, mouse, printer or USB storage between the two machines without unplugging cables. It is not for setups that only have a single video output per computer, because each PC must supply both an HDMI and a DisplayPort signal. Buyers who need more than two computer ports or who rely on USB-C video input should look elsewhere.

Resolution Headroom And Limits

The switch passes up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz, with backward compatibility for 4K at 60 Hz, 2K at 165 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5 Gb/s data throughput for attached peripherals. Bandwidth headroom is sufficient for high-refresh gaming on two 4K screens, but the two-computer, two-monitor topology is fixed; adding a third system or a third display is not supported.

Questions about this item

What cables must I already have to connect both PCs to this KVM switch?

Each PC needs one HDMI 2.1 cable, one DisplayPort 1.4 cable and one USB 3.0 cable to reach the switch inputs.

Will my existing monitors that only handle 4K 60 Hz work with the 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz capability of this switch?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with 4K 60 Hz, 2K 165 Hz and 1080P 240 Hz, so older displays will function normally.

How can I confirm the switch is actively passing video and USB signals after I finish the wiring?

The front-panel LED indicators show which PC is selected, and the wired remote lets you toggle between PC 1 and PC 2 to verify both video and USB 3.0 peripherals respond.
