HDMI 2.0 bandwidth limits resolution and refresh

Video runs over HDMI 2.0, so the maximum signal is 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Lower resolutions such as 2560 x 1440 can reach 144 Hz, and 1920 x 1080 also supports 144 Hz. The switch cannot pass higher refresh rates at 4K or any format that exceeds the HDMI 2.0 link.

EDID emulation keeps window layout intact

An integrated EDID emulator stores each monitor’s resolution and refresh rate so the active computer always sees the same display identity. When switching between the three connected systems, application windows stay in place and do not rearrange.
