8K 48 Gbps Bi-Directional Switch

This WRIARICH OZ8AB unit routes HDMI signals at up to 7680x4320 resolution and 48 Gbps bandwidth. It works as a 2-in-1-out switcher or a 1-in-2-out splitter, though both outputs cannot display simultaneously. A supplied DC 5 V power cable is required for operation. Manual switching takes a few seconds on some high-power sources.

Console and media-streamer owners

The switch handles 4K at 120 Hz and 8K at 60 Hz, matching current consoles and streaming boxes. Users who need automatic input detection or simultaneous dual-display output should look at a different device. It is also unsuitable for installations that cannot accommodate the external power adapter.

7680x4320 maximum resolution

This single figure defines whether the switch matches the display and source capabilities in your system. If your chain requires a higher resolution or refresh combination, this model will not pass the signal.

Questions about this item

Will the DC 5V power cable need replacing over time?

The switch requires the supplied DC 5V charger to operate; the cable is a standard barrel connector that can be swapped for any equivalent 5 V supply if it ever wears out.

What is the bandwidth ceiling when running 8K@60Hz continuously?

The HDMI 2.1 path is rated at 48Gbps, so sustained 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz signals stay within the specified bandwidth limit.

Does the aluminum enclosure get hot during all-day use?

The compact aluminium chassis passively dissipates heat from the 5 V circuitry; normal operation stays warm but not hot enough to throttle the 48Gbps link.
