What it does

The WRIARICH OZ8AB is a bi-directional HDMI 2.1 switch that handles 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz over a 48 Gbps link. It serves gamers and home-theatre owners who need to share one display between two sources or send one source to two displays.

Build and connections

A compact black enclosure measuring 5.91 by 2.36 by 0.79 inches and weighing 11.9 ounces holds two HDMI inputs and one HDMI output that reverse for splitter duty. The unit requires the supplied DC 5 V power cable and uses a manual button for switching; automatic switching is not supported.

Practical limits

Only one output is active at a time, so simultaneous dual-display use is impossible. Manual switching can take three to six seconds on high-power devices. For 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz the supplier recommends certified ultra-high-speed HDMI cables no longer than three metres, which are not included.
