4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch 4K

The WRIARICH OZJ1 routes four HDMI sources to two independent displays at up to 4K 60 Hz. It suits home-theatre owners, meeting-room installers and educators who need simultaneous or separate output paths. IR remote control simplifies source selection from a distance. The unit also extracts audio through SPDIF optical and 3.5 mm analogue jacks.

Passive cooling silent operation

No fan is present so the switch runs completely silent in normal use. Power draw is low enough for the supplied adapter without special cooling requirements. The compact metal enclosure dissipates heat passively during continuous 18.5 Gbps signal throughput. Operation remains stable across the supported 10 metre cable limit.

HDMI 2.0b 18.5 Gbps bandwidth

This single specification determines whether the matrix can transport 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 or HDR content without compression. The 600 MHz TMDS clock and HDCP 2.2 compliance match current 4K source and sink requirements. Lower-bandwidth switches would force 30 Hz or chroma subsampling at 4K.

Questions about this item

How do I connect four sources and two displays to the OZJ1 matrix, and which step do people often miss?

Plug each source into the four HDMI inputs and each display into the two HDMI outputs, then connect the included power supply to the port on the same side as the HDMI sockets; the step most often missed is powering the unit before switching sources.

What audio outputs might need attention or replacement over time on this matrix?

The box provides simultaneous HDMI audio, a 3.5 mm stereo jack and an optical SPDIF output; the 3.5 mm jack and optical port are the physical connectors most likely to wear with repeated cable changes.

What is the first limit I will hit when running 4K 60 Hz content continuously through the OZJ1?

The 18.5 Gbps bandwidth ceiling and the 10 metre maximum cable length for AWG26 HDMI 2.0b cables are the first constraints encountered under sustained 4K 60 Hz use.
